Blaklash was engaged by Queensland University of Technology to serve as the Indigenous Design Consultant and Art Curator for the new Oodgeroo and Carumba Unit space at the Gardens Point campus.

To ensure the best outcomes for the project and wider community, Blaklash worked closely with QUT Elder in Residence, Uncle Gregory Egery, and aligned the design outcomes with the university’s Campus to Country vision and values.
Occupying an entire third floor of B Block, the commission involved collaborating with artists to deliver physical and digital artworks for wall treatments, as well as translating designs onto textiles, glazing decals, and locker panels.
